Apply for MedicareYou may be eligible for Medicare if you are over the age of 65, have permanent kidney failure, or if you recieve disability benefits. There are 4 parts, determine which parts best fits your needs before submitting an application. You also call Social Security at 1 (800) 772-1213 to find out if you’re eligible for Part A and/or Part B.
Get an estimate of when you're eligible for Medicare and your premium amount. If you don't see your situation, contact Social Security (or the Railroad Retirement Board if you get railroad benefits) to learn more about your specific eligibility or premium.
