Familias Reunidas FREE Workshop
Familias Reunidas is a four-session workshop designed to support Spanish-speaking families who have undergone separation and reunification during the migration process. This program aims to provide families with the necessary tools and resources to overcome obstacles and strengthen their relationships. The program is designed to help individuals:
- Families understand the feelings that both caregivers and children may be experiencing through the reunification process.
- Identify obstacles that families may be encountering during this process and learn strategies that will improve caregiver/child relationships.
- Help caregivers build better relationships with their children by understanding their feelings, why decisions were made, and learning how to begin difficult conversations.
- Understand the challenges that immigrant families face when moving to the United States.

Casa's FREE Legal and Community Resources
- Learning English: Speak and write in English to use at home, in the community, or at work with CASA’s ESOL classes. Learn from home using Zoom. Adults ages 18 years and older of ALL levels are welcome.
- Citizenship: CASA’s comprehensive citizenship initiative includes citizenship education, mentoring and interview preparation, application assistance, and post-naturalization support.
- Legal Aid: CASA provides a variety of legal services for low-income immigrants in housing, employment and immigration matters.
- Vocational training: CASA partners with local community colleges such as Prince George’s Community College and Montgomery College to offer a range of vocational training courses including building maintenance, computer repair, HVAC installation and repair, blueprint reading, sewing, child development, solar panel, computer literacy, Spanish literacy, after school program, home Improvement, cost estimate for construction and certified nursing assistant.
